I know I’m known for being a big Buffy fan, but if I could get away with it, my dream cosplay would actually be Zoe Washburne from Firefly. Holy shit, that woman kicks ass. I was watching it again on Netflix after a bad day (it happens even to blondes) and aside from the fact that Wash really isn’t my type, I’d just love to be Zoe. She takes no bullshit from anyone, not even her captain, and at the same time as being strong she’s perfectly feminine. This is why Whedon is so obviously a feminist: because the women in this show are all different and all feminine, all strong in their own way.
I mean, come on, the damsel in distress in this series is Simon Tam.
